First off, I really don't like priming on my press for a variety of reasons... Mostly, I like having a feel for the seating process.

I've been really happy with my old Lee hand primer tool over the years. The problem is... the years.

I've broken several of the bones in my hands over the years (and a few times set them myself... BAD IDEA) and have developed some mild arthritis. After a couple hundred rounds I'm starting to hurt pretty good.

I'm thinking this, or something like it, might be the hot ticket. Any thoughts?

I got one off ebay a few years ago, because of how happy I was with the Forster Press.

Once you get it adjusted for your cartridge base it seats primers perfectly.

However getting the 3 little elliptical plates lined up if you change cartridge sizes, is a major pain in the ass.

You adjust, readjust, a little too much, whoops got to go back the other way. It may take 3 minutes, or an hour
to change from .223 to .308 diameter.

If you dedicated it to one case size and never adjusted it again, it would be ideal.

I rarely use it anymore.

EDIT: I just looked at the PDF instructions for the priming tool. It appears that they make the adjusters slide in and out now. My old tool, they rotate.
The newer style may be just the ticket compared to mine. I would like to try one.

Well, if you weren't in a hurry, I think I might buy one next pay day and try it out. I can post a review and see if that problem is worked out.

It has adjustable jaws like on the Forster Co-Ax press. I agree that it's tedious to set the jaws for each cartridge head. I do however recommend the RCBS bench mounted Automatic priming tool. It uses standard shellholders. It has just the right leverage, great feel, and easy to use. I wouldn't prime on anything else. It comes in two versions. One unit uses primer strips. rather than primer tubes. I highly recommend the RCBS tool.

Another +1 on the RCBS. And you can use the older Dillon Primer tube in the RCBS.

I may have to go with the RCBS... I don't think can pull off a German accent well enough to use the Forester after watching this video.
