Do case lubes go bad over time? I havent done any reloading in 6 or 7 years, and I still have two bottles of Hornady One Shot, one about half full, the other unused. Have these lubes broken down over time, or are they ok to use?

I've had the one shot sit for a couple of years and it works fine. I don't see any of the ingredients breaking down especially when in the can. Just give it a good shaking

Same. I buy it in bulk when I see it cheap (usually at the National Matches) and use it over a couple of years...

i cant get the stuff to work right when its NEW, so i cant be of any help for aged! but from what i understand about most aerosols, usually the stuff isnt produced with anything that breaks down, so you should be good to go

i did however find a pretty cool article recently that explained how to make your own case lube. somewhere on here, just have to search it
