Your opinion is wanted "Paging Dryflash"!
For what ever reason I have a hard time searching for specific post. I can remember a post that dealt with loading Power Pistol but cant find it.
Here is what Im doing, tell me what you think.
Procssed once fired mixed 9mm brass
CCI 550 primer, 5.5 gns of Power Pistol
115gn jacketed round point from RMR
1.112 - 1.13 OAL with a very light taper crimp
My concern is that I am shooring this out of a Glock 17 and all my friends say factory loads only. This same round functions flawlessly in my M&P9 and I drop tested several samples into the Glock barrel.
Next week I will be able to Crono it and report back but for now it seems to work just fine, pretty accurate too, I'm just a little nervouse from what all these experts are saying.
Thanks
Well, I'm not DF3, but my Glock 23 hasn't shot anything BUT reloads for many years. It loves Power Pistol. I also use a Lone Wolf 9mm conversion barrel, and it loves lead 124 gr. loads with Power Pistol. Very accurate.
If your friends are your "experts", they surely know that virtually every gun manufacturer today says, 'No Reloads'. It's a lawyer thing.
Rest assured that if you make good quality reloads, your gun will fire them safely. And accurately. And way cheaper than factory. Mine do.
The older generation Glocks had unsupported chambers and the result was brass that had a distinct bulge just above the case head.

The repeated sizing and reloading of this bulged brass caused the brass to become weak in this area. this weaken brass would then fail resulting in a KB.
The new Generation Glocks have better chamber support and the bulge is basically a thing of the past.

Unless you are shooting .40
OP, no problem at all running reloads in your Glock. Sounds like yours are working fine so run em.
You will not have any problems.
Your OAL is a little short (but shouldn't be a problem), but your charge is pretty low.
Power Pistol is my favorite full power load for 40s&w, 45acp, and 10mm and works well in 9mm also. That said, it's best for strong medium and full power loads, not light loads. A better light load powder for your 9mm would be TiteGroup.
5.5 grains of Power Pistol w/115 grain jacketed bullets seated @ 1.110+" is a mild load probably chronographs around 1100 fps. It will not produce the large muzzle flash and blast normally associated with full power "Power Pistol" loads. I think you'll be very happy with that load. I use 5.7 grains with 115 grain HP's and Remington 5 1/2 magnum small pistol primers. I get 1150 fps from my KKM 9mm conversion barrel and great accuracy/reliability.
Good Luck

I have no experiance with reloading for a Glock.
If I had one, I would reload for it.
The owners manual says not to shoot reloads, but all owners manuals say that.
In my 9 mm CZ 85, for a full power load I use a
standard SP primer, and 6.7 grs Power Pistol with a 115 gr FMJ or a 115 gr JHP. I use an OAL of 1.10 with the FMJ. (Lyman 49)
So your 5.5 gr load sounds ok, but I question the magnum primer.
Should be fine with the light load, but use a standard SP primer if you have them.
Save the SPM primers for 357. Good luck
