Where to buy AUG parts?

I need a few parts for my AXR. I have tried to order them for over 4 months with no luck. I have contacted Steyr, PJs, and asked Ratworx and none of them have much help. Pjs says to email him the list so he can get me availability, then when I email him I never hear back. This has happened 3 times now - 3 separate emails and 3 no response replies per email - (9 emails). Steyr is worthless. Ratworks says they haven't heard back from their guy - prob PJs. These people must not want to make a sale. Any other places I can try?

Both emails I sent to PJS through their internal email system were responded to within 12 hours. Both emails were within the last month.

Pete has always answered the phone when I call. Just be prepared to chat a while.

Specialist are good folks too though.All you people saying "How about you pick up the phone and call." Wow thanks for your words of wisdom. I have called him already - he keeps saying to email him the list (I need a few parts). Looks like most of the stuff on Specialist's site are SOLD OUT - but I will try Specialist - thanks for the help.

Specialist says to get them from Pete. This is like a damn comedy - unreal. In this economy you would think people would want $ - guess not.

Don't give up so easy.
If I were in your situation, I would call him again. If he tells you to email, ask his email address. Once you hit send for the email, call him again and confirm that he got the email.
Problems solved.

What parts are you trying to get? And yeah Steyr AUG parts are rare and hard to find sometimes. Just have to be patient and keep looking. Took me a long time to find a barrel I wanted. You can also put out a WTB add on Sturmgewehr.com

I agree, hard to find.
The few Steyr Dealers that I deal with do not carry any parts for the Aug.
They can't make any money on parts and Accessories. After they mark their goods up by peanuts, very few customers are willing to pay that crazy final price.

I wanted a spare gas piston and a few rings, firing pin, couple of bolt cages, butt pad.

Well, I just kept calling him and he finally said he was going to email me back on Friday when some more parts came in. Just frustrating and thought I would check if anyone had any other sources. Thanks for the help guys.

I called him yesterday about a single part. He said a shipment of parts from Steyr was coming in on Thursday and to call back on Friday...
It's too bad there aren't more sources for parts. If he went out of business, finding parts in the US would be extremely difficult without SteyrUSA.
