A few people here have probably used it. I think you will find it is a pretty safe bet.

if you are talking about the lake city/federal that is the mil spec ammunition, I think you'll find it to be the standard ball round that most of us use. Works good in my aug, TPD, and ARs. come to think of it, I don't know of a rifle it doesn't work in.

I have over 1000 rounds of XM193F through my Steyr A3. I have not had any problems.

Works great, but... I prefer wolf or tula for dumping mags. An AUG will shoot ANYTHING you feed it.

$200/1krds vs $350/1krds currently

Put 400 rnds of Federal Lake City XM193 5.56 55 grn through each of two MSAR STG-556 recently in Front Sight carbine course (800 rnds total). Flawless, no malfunctions, ran clean IMO.

Yeah, you're good to go with Federal.

The MSAR, at least mine, loves XM193.

I have an RFB, FAL,17S, MIA and a 1919A4 with a crank. Federal Lake City XM80C has 500 rds @ 350.00 bucks delivered or I found Winchester 400 rds @290.00 delivered. I was shooting MAG TECH but I cant find a lead on theirs now so I want to lean on folks here before i start ordering cases. Thanks all.
