Just wondering what the best choices are.

And I suppose there's no way to make a basic excel spreadsheet work?

I have thought about the Excell spreadsheet before. It could work but I am turned off by all the paper backups that seem to be required by using the electronic bound book that I have simply stuck with the traditional book. I think MS Access would be a better choice from using several of its applications, if I just knew how to make it do what I want it to do.
