I just had my first compliance visit in 9 years. I was expecting a tougher go. But the inspector was very friendly, and understood why the two minor flaws were there. She said that as long as I corrected my methods, the next inspection wouldn't have any problems. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I did learn a couple new things that I wasn't aware of. I hope all the future visits will be as good.
When I had mine I found the same thing...the inspectors were courteous and extremely helpful...
Sigman220, what was it that the ATF didn't like in your records/operations?
I failed to put down my business name and FFL number. From the placing of the multiple sales direction, I thought it was meant for that space. Now I have a stamp for both the name and address, and the FFL #. Also, I was informed that pre 2010 CCHL for Kansas won't work and will still need to be called in. Kinda minor, but it was understood after their direction. The best part about it was the inspector was really good looking.
Sorry about the double post
