This is for anyone that has delt with Prince William County and getting your FFL as a home business.
I contacted the County business office and got the VA run around. I know FFL holders that live in VA that run their business form their home, but PW says that they are illegal and that you can only run a gun store from a store front not a home because of the people traffic it would cause in my neighborhood . I checked with my HOA and I can run a business from my home as long as I have the correct license. Explained all of this to the county clerk and they said that unless I Was running a daycare I cant do a gun store because of the traffic. To me that is A$$ backwards, running a daycare would create the same if not more traffic.
Has anyone delt with PWC and gotten their home based FFL, your assistance would be greatly appreciative.

Check and see what is permitted based on the zoning for your property, which is all the county can control. Or does PWC issue its own business licenses?

Tell them there will be no traffic, you will do everything by common carrier.
Also, look up that FFL database and see if their are other FFLs in your area.
