Target World in Cincinnati
Has anyone ever purchased or tried to purchase a safe from Target World? Just wondering if others have been ignored like I have been?
I have Been there one time to check out the safes. I was there for about an hour and was never asked if I needed any assistance. Today, I contacted a company in Dayton called Mcintosh safe corp. they were recommended to me by a buddy who knows his stuff. He work on/installs safe at WPAFB. I spoke to a guy named John and he was very nice and helpful. I will be going down there in the near future to check out the safes they have in stock. He said he is ordering some champion safe sometime in January which is what I have my eye on. Their websit list the safes they generally have in stock. So, needless to say, target world will not get my business. If u look up reviews on target world, there aren't too many satisfied customers.
I hear ya Moto. I did finally get the safe from Target World. It took a couple phone calls, 8-10 emails and a month to get them to call me back and make the sale. Apparently I "fell through the cracks" I was very satisfied with the delivery though. TW uses Pete's safe and vault movers and they were quick, friendly, safe and didn't damage anything getting the safe to the second floor of my house. Unfortunately, my expectations for any gun shop/range I visit has been ruined over the years. It's too bad that it has to be that way. There are so many shooters/gun enthusiasts and so few places to shoot that I think they pretty much know that they can treat people like trash and not have to worry about losing too much business. Where else are we going to go?
