Hello guys. A few weeks ago my good friend Mark started a thread on a project gun that he found in a pawn shop and refinished for me. I promised you guys a few pics when he was finished and all the test firing was done. She is a real sweet shooter and loves Winchester 150gr PP's. This ammo will cloverleaf at 50yds. I added the Uncle Mike sling studs and sling last night. The scope is an older Simmons Pro Diamond 1.5-5x20 that is bright and clear. She looks good on the rifle. The pattern on the wood is a little crazy, but I like the two tone look. It is only on one side though. I want to publically thank Mark again for the nice work he did. She is now ready for some Florida whitetail deer and maybe a hog or two.

Nice set up, have you thought about a XS Scout mount to get the scope a bit farther forward?

Sort of like this it make the gun easier to mount fast.

The scope as it sits allows for a perfect cheek weld and the reticle appears as soon as I shoulder the weapon. The eye relief would not allow it to sit any more forward and still work as it should. It is perfect where it sits.

Looks good Ken. I shoulda bought that scope from you when you offered it to me.

Glad you're liking the rifle.
