The PCC forum is one that I check regularly when I get a few minutes to surf arfcom, but I rarely see much on the CX4 Storm. When I search the forum (which never really works anyway because arfcom search sucks......my only beef with the website), I get no results through 5 pages in the PCC forum. How can that be?

IMHO, the CX4 storm is a great little PCC because:

1. It's reliable.
2. It's accurate.
3. It feels good (though the trigger does leave some to be desired)
4. Hi quality hi-ish cap mags are plentiful - I like the Mec Gar 20's.
5. It's handy and light for walking the woods.
6. Beretta makes great stuff.
7. And.....I think it looks cool.

I see a few at gunshows now and then, and I guess they are a bit pricey for a polymer carbine, but I think they're one of the best choices out there. I prefer it to the alternatives because...

UZI - more expensive, heavier, and IMHO less fun to shoot....especially in semi
Colt 9mm AR - this one would be great, but double the price of a cx4
Build Your Own 9mm AR - not interested in the headache
Keltec Carbine - I admit that I'm a gun snob, and I just don't want to own a Keltec.......no offense to the Keltec crowd, I've read that they are accurate and reliable carbines, but I just don't want one.
High Point Carbine- see Keltec x 2
Marlin Camp 9 - good guns, but I need the tacticool look / feel
Glock Carbine - I'll be first in line with a fist full of cash if it ever happens

Are there any other CX4 Storm fans out there, or am I the only one?

Here's Mine...

I have one in 40. The only thing I don't like about it is the thing is expensive to feed.

They are just the ticket when your wife says she needs some drain holes in the bottom of her new galvanized planter.

No problem, my love.....

No pics, but I love mine...
The thru-the-grip magwell and telescoping bolt make for a remarkably short package, even without getting into the SBR jackpot.
About everybody who has fired mine has been able to hit with it; iron sights are good, trigger could be better. With a weapons light mounted, I particularly like the ability to fold the rear sight out of the way...it's easy to get minute of bad guy hits out to 25 yds without any drama at all just using the front post. And it's easy to mount a light.
As long as you have a 9mm, 20 round OEM are available, reliable, sturdy and cheap. Sturdy enough to drive a Jeep over them (on a paved road) and still work...(don't try this at home with AR mags) no need to ask how I came by this information....sturdiest mags I've ever seen. I would counsel using the mag sleeve to avoid over insertion.
Goes bang all the time, has regular rifling so it can shoot lead reloads...
Reminds me, I should treat mine to a new recoil spring.
But yeah, they're great. When the power fails, I grab mine, slap in a mag and a light, and sleep peacefully.
