I'm interested in a CMMG 22lr upper but I was hoping to continue to use my BDM ceiner compatible magazines with the upper. I asked CMMG and they said I need to use their adapter in order to use the BDMs. Anyone have any experience with these mags, adapter, and CMMG upper?

Five2one: I'm interested in getting the
M4 LE .22 LR Evolution 16 inch Upper. I have a Ceiner kit in an AR and use Black Dog Magazines. Will the Ceiner kit compatible Black Dog Magazines work with your M4 LE .22 LR Evolution 16 inch Upper?

CMMG: It will work provided you use our dedicated .22LR chamber adapter

I little more info...

Five2one: Is this an extra cost or does it come with the upper? If its extra, could you provide the part number?

CMMG: The dedicated .22LR Chamber Adapter comes standard attached to the .22 bolt in our dedicated uppers.

I may just take the risk on the CMMG 22lr upper. Its 200 cheaper than Spiders or TacSol and I generally hear good things about CMMG.

Gun show tomorrow. I wonder if I stumble across the upper.

I have a Tac Sol and a CMMG. Both are reliable, very much so. Both are made well, very much so. Both have great customer support. So what is different?

CMMG has lots of options......Tac Sol not.

CMMG sells parts.....................Tac Sol not

CMMG cost a bunch less than Tac Sol.....that may matter.
