Very nice. Making an SBR or a carbine?

I SBRed my Vector Uzi pistol a couple of years ago - never been totally in love with the regulation collapsible stock and liked that this looks like the mini/micro Uzi stocks. Running an AAC Avenger on it so have high hopes that this stock will get my Uzi promoted from the back of the safe to closer to the front.

Please let us know how it is compaired to the standard folding stock. There was some talk about these on Uzi Talk forum where the maker of them was getting some input on them. It looks as if they are done being designed and are being made.

I picked up one of the fixed wood stocks from Cheaper then Dirt and it's sitting waiting on my SBR Vector to clear as I hate the cheekweld of the standard folding stock. I may have to check out one of these too.

***EDIT** Holy sh*t that thing is expensive, I think I will just stick with my wooden one or maybe do up a VZ58 stock to fit it.

The length of pull looks even longer then the already long LOP of the factory stock.

.............But I do love the looks, don't get me wrong.

The LOP is actually not bad. Hated the full stock and tried two UZI folders but never got happy with them - this stock made me happiest with this gun so far.

Is your an Vector? If so what finish did you get for the stock, the flat or semi gloss?

I bought this vector about 8,9 years ago and they didn't offer me any color options at the time. I duracoated my original folding stock HK black and it was pretty close so I will claim that it is semigloss.

If you get a chance, can you measure from the rear of stock to the trigger.....and maybe a picture of the entire gun with stock open?

Thank you in advance.

You don't recall what color choice you got for the stock? Yeah looking at my new vector its between a flat and semi gloss. Not sure which color would match up best thats why I'm asking you since yours looks like a exact match from picture.

This stock is semigloss, the original ones that i duracoated are semigloss, the UZI itself appears to be semi semigloss but don't know - thought for some reason that the question was about the color of the gun. Will get LOP measurements and new pic up tomorrow.

LOP on the UZI is a hair beyond 17" or about 3" longer than my AR fully extended. It actually feels pretty decent despite how it looks visually.

What seems to make the longer then normal LOP of the UZI seem o.k....is the placement of the rear sight......In my opinion.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the heads up on the new stock, I like the original folder on mine fine, except my beard is always getting caught around the hinge. I think I'll get one of these myself to save my face from getting hair yanked out everytime my cheek touches the buttstock!

Not to highjack too much, but to prevent the beard yank and the famous "Uzi bite" from the top, left edge of the regular metal stock, I made a "wrap". The wrap is an 8" x 8" piece of car seat type vinyl/cloth with hook & loop (Velcro) fastening on the opposing (across from each other) and opposite (one on top and one on bottom) edges of the wrap. Open the stock, slap on the wrap around the stock bars, shoot with care, take off the wrap, fold the stock.

Not legal advice, MHO, YMMV, etc.

So I see I'm not the only one who has experienced this , I give that a try next time I go out, but may still buy one of these stocks. They just seem a little high in price, might have to hold off for a little while and try the wrap in the meantime.

That side folder stock is a very nice option. Out of my affordability bracket for now. Damn recession!

I give Title II Arms credit for being able to sell those for what they do - it is what the market will bear! That being said, I think I would be a lot more likely to get one if it wer in the $125 range, it is a nice piece but I just can't justify that kind of coin.
