Solid Model or blueprint of DPMS LR .308 recievers?
Does anyone know of a source for either the dimensions on this or a solid model of the receiver. Since I now have a functional CNC mill one of the projects I keep day-dreaming about is building my own from raw stock. Not because I think I'll make it cheaper but just to do a project like that. I have found a model for the AR-10 style lower but I already have magazines for the DPMS LR rifles and I am not going to buy different mags to run another semi .308. Failing that, does anyone know what the main dimensional issues are between them? I could look to simply model it out myself.
If you do model the LR-308 lower, please fix the trigger guard. The factory one sucks.
