I'm shopping online for a good armorer's tool. Who makes a good wrench? I've read tons of reviews about wrenches breaking, not fitting barrel nuts / flash hiders, etc.
I have a DPMS wrench that hasn't broken but there are people here who have broken several of that exact item. I have never had to use the barrel nut pins (which I think is the complained weak point). I use the regular multi-facet portion of the wrench because my service rifle tube accepts it. My only complaint is that it is painted which flakes off. This hasn't caused any problems but I do dust my gun off after I use the wrench.

I've got the same one and I like it a lot. I did, however, have to file/sand off a lot of the powder coat since it messed with the fit of the parts.
I have the DTI all in one wrench and it's good to go for me. It's super heavy duty. Picked it up at a gunshow last week for $25, can't beat it. IMHO just my .02 cents.
I have the NCstar one. It has worked okay for things like the flash hider and castle nut. All the NCstar stuff sucks, so I'm sure it would break if I tried to use it on the barrel nut.
This is the wrench that I used its like 25 dollars and worked great for me. You can use a torque wrench with it and it works great. I have only done one build so far with it, but it seemed fairly heavy duty and was easy to use.
