Here are some quick videos produced by CA toolmaker GMT.

They're short, well produced and display a variety of techniques and machines.

I don't know how to embed, so here's a hyperlink-

Pro tip.
Do not wear any kind of glove when operating machinery.

I watched a guy get his hand pulled into a large endmill. Two things caused this. 1. He was wearing rubber gloves. 2. He was a dumbass.
It happened while the spindle was winding down, and he went to brush off some chips. Instead of one or two cuts on the pinky finger, he had a series of gashes from 2nd knuckle to the wrist. The spacing matched the rotating endmill perfectly.

Thanks for posting that Cole. I learned some things, like why aluminum builds up on my endmills :)

What do you guys use for lube, when cutting an ar15 lower? Anything?

I don't have a good way to remove smoke and fumes, so I'm not going to use WD40

I use wd40. I have a feeling their smokey scene has to do with that big face mill as well.

It sure as hell beats sulphurized cutting oil.

It's worth a shot since there's a 99% chance you already own some.
