Building a somewhat decent Remington 700 and would like to purchase a torque wrench for the small tasks of scope bases and rings and putting the action into the aics chassis. Wonder if you could recommend a small one that is decent and won't break the bank as it's only going to be used for those operations. Thanks
Check the in line wrench sold by Manson Reamers, that's what I own. About $80, comes with a case and tips.
Park Tools maker of tools for bicycles has a small beam type wrench priced at about $40 from internet sellers.

I have a Weaver Torque Wrench , works great . You can find them for around 55.00 if you do a little shopping . The Weaver goes from 10 inch pounds to 80
I use mine all the time for scope mounts and rings ,also use it to torque the action screws on my rifles.
