I am looking to have a muzzle brake installed on my Rem 700 (matte) stainless 300 Remington Ultra Mag.

I'd like a removeable brake, as well as a thread protector as this is a hunting rifle.
I've looked at KDF, Gentry, Vais, and several others...pricing varies drastically from one to the next.

Can anyone recommend a reputable one-stop shop that can thread my barrel, install the brake, make/fit a thread protector, and matte finish to match?

Yes, I know the pro/con of a muzzle brake so I don't need that discussion.
You try shooting 220gr SMK's ir 210gr VLDs out of an 8.5lb 300RUM in a Tshirt, prone...it's not fun for long with no brake.

Any reputable shop should be able to thread your barrel and properly time your brake so the ports index where they should . The same shop should very easily be able to make a knurled thread protector ,and touch up the barrel's crown when finished . It's all gunsmithing 101 .

As far as a brake itself , there's a plethora of choices out there .

This is my baby , also a 300 RUM , with a large , stainless , JP Enterprises Bennie Cooley Signature Series brake .

It's turns ultramag recoil into 308 levels of thump , very effective .

I dont remove it , but my gunsmith , oldest friend and fellow gun nut Scott Baker did an excellent job on the rifle as well as timing and threading the Shillen barrel for the brake .

I love this rifle
