This weapon just kind of feel in my lap and I'm waniting to know how to take down the bolt for this rifle as I'm going to be Duracoating it and was advised to strip it down as far as I can. Thanks for thge help
Here's a site with the Ordnance manuals on the Springfield. These show 100% disassembly, including the bolt.
Unless you have NO choice, don't remove the extractor collar ring from the bolt body.

Thanks that helped a lot I have a odd looking safety on my bolt cant get it to flip to the middle but found out the way it works!

For the love of God, please don't do this.
If your Springer can be restored to original condition, it would be best to not refinish it in the way you describe.
