So, who is making the best set-up? I just purchased a Remington 700 SPS AAC and I want to replace the drop plate to a detachable mag. Ive seen a few different company's that offer this, but dont want to waste money on something that doesnt function correctly.

Manners stock with a mini chassis is another excellent option. Great stock you can just bolt on and get the dbm as well.
The stocks on those AACs are not worth fitting a dbm to. Very flexable. No matter what you do replace the stock when you get the dbm.
