I thought only interstate travel was regulated like that. An additional question: is this reporting for all NFA items including suppressors?
Originally I was reporting it all. Recently I learned reporting cans wasn't necessary because they don't go "bang."

You don't need to notify ATF of an in-state move. They ask that you inform them though.
I used a 5320.20 last time I moved within the same state and they are still approving them.
I keep copies in my tax stamp binder.
I might just do it for the hell of it.
