I recently sent a suppressor in for warranty work and they refinished the tube. The markings are just barely visible now. Is it safe to assume this isn't a problem?

I would contact the manufacturer and have them fix the issue.

Better safe than sorry.

Markings are the manufacturers responsibility not the owners. You can't get in trouble for faulty markings as long as you didn't cause the issue (i.e. filing off the numbers).

As long as it is visible it is not a problem.

It is felony to receive/possess a firearm with the SN obliterated. Fortunately, it does not sound like this is the case.
