 Trust for SBR?

Howdy folks,

I'd like to get the process started to register lowers for SBR(s) once I'm back from 'stan this summer. Just wanted to clarify a few things here and now first. Assuming I set up a trust with one or more lowers listed as property of the trust, me being the Granter and a Trustee:

1) Can the Trust buy/build NFA using a Form 1?
2) Would I use the name of the trust as the Applicant?
3) Are finger prints, photos, and CLEO signatures still required?

Same questions, but instead of Trust, what about a Limited Liability Company and/or Corp?

After I choose which route to go, I plan to build a 10.5" on a Zombie lower (ideas? ) as my first SBR. If Texas adopts the use of suppressors for hunting, I then plan to SBR register my "hunting AR platform" then build it a suppressed 12.5" 6.8 SPC.

Any answers/clarification/comments/recommendations are welcome. Thanks in advance!

A trust would be the "owner" of the lower receiver you are registering. The Schedule A description of it would be similar to this: Lewis Machine & Tool Defender Lower Receiver serial# LMT 32xxx
2) Would I use the name of the trust as the Applicant?
When applying on the Form 1 the Applicant's name would be whatever your Revocable Living Trust is named as.
3) Are finger prints, photos, and CLEO signatures still required?
No! You cannot photograph a legal entity, nor can you fingerprint it, and it does not require a BG check. Only you, the Grantor and Trustee, would require a 4473 at the end of a Form 4, not a Form 1.

Same applies.

Not sure exactly what you want here, but once you have the lower registered in it's original configuration as a 10.5" weapon you may run any length upper receiver. The ATF requests, to keep the registry current, a permanent change of configuration to be sent to them. If you keep the original 10.5" setup, add as many uppers as you want.

I recommend getting started on a 6.8 or 762 can soon since the wait is taking several months on the Form 4.

That's exactly what I needed to know, thanks! I'll get the Trust set up asap when I'm back home

As far as the last part, I wasn't really looking for anything, just typing out load on what the future may hold for me.
