LWRC PSD 8.5" suppressed
anyone have experience with running one of these guns suppressed? I'm leery about it and would love some feedback. I've got a lower on Form 1 and plan on building a 300BLK rifle, but would also like to buy a 556 SBR.

Too short.
It's a good barrel, go for it, just make sure your can is warrantied for a barrel that short. Thunderbeast makes a good can for barrels down to 7". I've ran the shit out of my M42000 (not covered by warranty) on a 7.5" upper full-auto for a few thousand rounds and never had a baffle strike or any problems at all. 1/7 twist, 62 gr factory loads and all has been well. Wouldn't hurt to have the barrel checked for concentricity, but LWRC barrels have always been dead on in my experience. Your decision though, I wouldn't run that setup on a rifle for work, but for shits'n'grins on the range it can be a lot of fun!
Same question, but with a 6.8 mm LWRC 8.5 inch barrel? Possible, or out of the question? How about with a 7.62 mm can? Would the extra powder capacity of the 7.62mm allow for running such a short barrel?
Haven't ran that setup myself, but I've read a few threads on here or in the suppressor forum where other people were claiming to run a 7.62 suppressor on a 6.8 shorty. I think they were running a 7.62 SDN on one of them, but can't remember exactly. You could always call the manufacturer and ask what setup their can is good for. Any shorty, especially in the 7-8" range is "probably" not going to burn all the powder before leaving the barrel, a muzzle brake attachment for your suppressor will help keep the abuse off the blast baffle of your suppressor.
