Will this destroy my rail on my SBR?

I bought a 12" Troy MRF-CX rail to go on my 11.5 SBR. The upper has a Troy muzzle break, and a small amount of the porting is underneath the rail. Will it hurt anything, and will it have any negative effects?

Pics-

I'm just worried about the epic muzzle flames melting my new rail.....

It won't melt your rail, but it's going to carbon it up a little.

Don't hang lights or optics near the break, or it will be an expensive lesson.

If your good at body work, just cut the rail back 2 inches. The upper is a custom, then make the rail custom for it too.

Hack saw and belt sander, a little paint ( or alumium black ) who will know?

Exactly. The end of the rail will be discolored from being blasted with carbon and flames, but it won't affect anything except how it looks.

I went ahead and decided to get the Troy Claymore.....I like the "Front Towards Enemy" on the bottom of it....

Good choice. I like my light as far forward as possible and went with the Claymore. They are just about even at the end and so far it has been a great set up.
