I have an AR pistol, the mfg stated on his paper work it was a pistol lower, the dealer checked pistol on the 4473 ect ect... The question is do I run into any issues if I form 1 it to a 300 blk from a 5.56 pistol.

That's the best path to take for your first SBR. When configured as a pistol, you can shoot your short barreled upper(s) all you want. Then you just switch the receiver extension and slap a stock on there once you get your stamp and engrave.

Actually, it will be the second, the pistol was for when I was waiting for the first stamp. I figured that I was Gtg and just form 1 it just like a stripped lower, but it never hurts to ask

next question is if I have a Pistol and an SBR can I move the upper from the Pistol to the SBR and back again to the pistol or is that a big no-no?

Thanks

the lower is what has to get registered, not the upper. swap all you want, just don't swap receiver extentions and stock and you'll be fine.
