Does anyone know if the GSR Export is available in the U.S.? I would prefer an 18" barrel over a 16" w/ flash hider.

The correct answer is....... no! Not at this time. A few are starting to show up in the US; mostly due to connections with distributors.
Thanks Enforcer. I'm going to pick one up after Christmas and would have liked an export version, but if they aren't available the standard will work.
Go to your ffl and have them demand one from their distributor. The Distributor should have enough pull to get one for you. Plus, it lets Ruger know there is a demand for them.

I may do that depending on price. I'm surprised more people don't want the export version.
