M1a new stamping on rifle
Friend just bought a Springfield M1a rifle. I notice the stamping on top of the recvier looks different then the one I bought a few years ago. His looks like its not deep look's more like a engraving then being stamped
Any chance that you could post a photo of the receiver heel?
A lot of gun makers have gone to laser marking.
It's faster and cheaper, and they don't have to have roller engraving dies made to do it.
