I going to look at an older pre ban M1A tomorrow. It has the older 5 line Springfield receiver 332xx which I think is from the 1980's. The owner bought it second hand about 15 years ago from a freind of his who said he only shot it a few times, told me he has less than 500 rounds through gun, It has a trw bolt, sa gi op rod, gi walnut stock with cut out,the trigger group has a faint stamp the guy said he cant make out, and un marked barrel. Im going to assume its a commercial barrel and trigger group . He wants $1200. What do you think its worth

This gun turned out to be something diffrent than I was lead to belive. Had a out of spec trigger group no markings " needed a crow bar to get it out and in". A gas block that had shiny thick black paint, when I pulled back on the op rod with just slight outward force it came out of the receiver channel. It just looked funny no markings on the barrel what so ever I think it was a Taiwan parts gun for $1200 I walked.
