Anybody know how to get in touch with Delta Company Arms??
I spoke with Aaron a while back about building me a 10.3" pistol length gas system 300BLK upper and was told I was put on the "waiting list" and he would call me when it was closer to being done for payment arrangements.
He then restructered and was having Arkansas Sportsman do his phone answering. They told me to e-mail what I had been talking to him about and they would check into it...never heard back from them.
I sent him an e-mail through his website and never heard anything back.
Today I tried calling the number listed on his web site that says it's for Arkansas Sportsman and got a fax machine.
I know he has health issues and often goes to the VA and all but I seemingly have no way of getting ahold of him/them. I mean I don't have any money invested in this deal or anything but would like to get the upper we had talked about.
So does anybody know how to contact them?

Yeah, thanks for that useless post but I wish there was some cute and clever trick to show you that you didn't bother to read the post
Read the first post it has his cell number in it and his personal email. Let me know what happens as I am in the same boat as you.

Don’t just take the low lying fruit.
Scroll down a little and you will also find their Facebook page that lists a different number.
Here
Or you could search for the Yellville, AR property appraiser’s office and use the address to get the names that you need to do a white pages search… hell, you could even get their neighbor’s info and drill him for intell…
For god’s sake man, you have the information super highway at your fingertips.
See, now that second post was much more useful...but somebody else had already proven more helpful by the time you posted it.
The low hanging fruit is where I tend to pick as I'm sitting here trying to keep a 2 y/o from destroying a Christmas tree as I try and do this. Why do I feel like I posted this in GD by accident.

I didn't want to have to break out the predators or waterboarding if I didn't have to.
Anyway, back on topic, I left him a voice mail and I hope to hear back as of course I would like to buy the upper but also would like to make sure everything is OK with him. I talked to him on the phone for a long time and traded military stories and he seemed like a real nice guy.
I'm curious too. I have been on the waiting list for around 5 months and was told that it would only be a 2-3 month wait. Since my new can is still pending there has been no hurry, but it's getting kind of old. Keep us posted.
Did you guys already pay for the uppers? I've been on the list since beginning of Sept. I was told by the people that answer the phone that it was around a 16 week turnaround when I called last week.

I'm only waiting on a barrel and I haven't paid for it, though I did offer.
I have a Delta Co 10.3" blackout upper. I am VERY pleased with it. However, all the drama with trying to buy another upper from Delta has caused me to go with another company. I do hope that Aaron and Delta are able to work out their health, building, and distribution issues, as they do make a great product. There is just more demand than resources to satisfy the demand.
Here's his partner's email: david@deltacompanyarms.com

Sorry, he's been a problem before. I obviously made a mistake reinstating his ability to post in this forum
No, I haven't paid him for anything and DO NOT take this as a "they took my money and disappeared" thread by any means.
Like I said, I do really want the upper but would also like to make sure he's doing OK and that they are still around. Like I said, I had e-mailed them and not heard back and I e-mailed Arkansas Sportsman and not heard back. Now the phone seems to go to a fax machine and I am unable to talk to anybody.

I REALLY wanted to buy a barrel from them, but I am about to give up. I have been on "the list" since July and my can/stamp should be here any day now. Emails go unanswered - very disappointing. I hope the best for them, but time to punt and just order one from Noveske. I shouldn't have to work hard to try and become a customer.

Great comment that any small business owner needs to heed.
Unfortunately my story is a took my new uppers and handguards story. Aaron wont return my stuff, my calls (1 everyday for a month) or my emails. Sent my stuff in for a build and he said it was all done waiting for shipment, even gave him my credit card information. No uppers, no handguards, no nothing. Heard a Rumor(not sure how reliable) that they had sold the buisness to another group of guys and that they had owed a bunch of money to different companies. I hope it not true. Anyways, waiting for a spikes build now. I was having the uppers built for hunting because I was injured in Afghanistan and cant shoulder a rifle because I had a Spinal Cord injury and Shoulder damage. Was hoping I could hog hunt this season with a 300 AAC. No luck on that one, even though I did borrow a Draco from a friend and shot the 210lber thats being stuffed now. I tried calling the new number and they said they see him all the time but he's not calling anyone back. The guy at the new number did say they have stopped production though.
Well I just got off the phone with the less than pleasant guy from Arkansas Sportsman...
He told me that they don't bother to return e-mails until they get your product in stock and that if you e-mailed him you're "on the list" but I don't even know if they got my e-mail since they couldn't bother to return it!
According to the web site if you were dealing with Delta Company before and were on their list you will still be dealing with them...except you can't deal with them! The guy was a dick on the phone and complaining about how busy he was and that he was getting about ten orders a day putting them even further behind. He seemed like he couldn't be bothered to talk to me.
I don't know if I'm on one, two or no wait lists
Apparently they (Delta Company Arms) took pre-payment on 500 barrels according to the guy on the phone and are now trying to fill those orders so he is only getting a few a week. He told me that if it was a custom order expect to wait 8 months.
I really wanted to get this upper as they were willing to do the setup I wanted but now it looks like that may never happen. They could have at least gotten a nicer guy to tell you on the phone that you may or may not ever hear back from them.
I guess I'm going shopping elsewhere.
This is good to know. I have been on the list for at least 6 months and really did want the barrel. I'll just leave my name there until I find somewhere else to source from. I probably won't bother to let them know that I don't need it since that is too much to ask of them.
CMMG has an interesting barrel on their website for $199
