One week has passed, with PM's and e-mails sent, with zero indication that he intends to fulfill his end of the deal.
I was forced to pass on another buyer while waiting for him to decide to not contact me and as a result missed a chance to sell the barrel for my asking price.

Email and PM sent a few days back. No response.
Heard back from the original buyer. His ar15.com e-mail was linked to an older email address which would explain why he never saw any of my communication, and isn't a very frequent visitor of the site.
Since the barrel has been sold and I believe that he is being honest in his explanation, I do not feel the need to pursue this and give him negative feedback.
