These have all been used for a couple hundred rounds before I switched to a different stock. The buffer tube/receiver extension is mil-spec diameter (1.150"). They are all in excellent condition, with the only ding being on the threads of the buffer tube/receiver extension (pictured). The ding in the threads is not visible when a castle nut is installed.
