I spoke with Justin, if we can get 30 sights ordered, the price of the sights will come down to $90.00 each. If the rest of the guys on the two lists confirm their orders, we would be at 29, and only need 1 more for the price break.

I'll get a Money Order out by the end of this week.

I will get the cash out ASAP... (well Monday at the latest...)

For those that are on the list and your name is still in BLACK (dadman) and you haven't got back to me yet...

I've received e-mails from you, R4fan, and also replied to them.
Something is wrong on your end as others have received e-mails from me without any problems.
Also, in the past when this sight offer was first kicked around you didn't have replies or answers to questions.
I have been lax visiting ar15.com due to time and life in general.
I've expressed in the unreceived e-mails that 95$ for a stripped sight is a little much.
Regardless, put me in for (1) sight body.
Any recommendations on who to deal with for the rest of the sight parts?

Thanks for the reply. I haven't received any e-mails from you, and have had the same problem with some other members. I think it's a problem with MSN, because I have had the computer freeze and an error screen pop-up when sending e-mails through AR-15.com. As soon as I knew I had a problem, I posted it at the end of my first post. I have also repeatedly tried to contact everone and to remind them to check the thread for updates.

I'm experienced in spending all my money on group buys, but this is the first one that I have been in charge of. I checked the locked thread and found your post:

I am not the manufacturer of the sight, I just got involved because I wanted one and needed at least 19 other orders so I could get mine. The price may seem a little steep, but this is a limited-production, custom made sight. If we could get a total order for 100 pieces, the price would probably drop dramatically. So far we can't even make it to a total of 30 just to get a $5 price break. There are other sights that are in the same price range and the cosmetics are basic, and nothing like the CNC sight. The design is already made/produced by Justin and there have been no others asking to change the design. Sorry if I didn't answer all your questions, as I said this is a first for me.

If you want the internal parts, I know Bushmaster has them. You can get the parts pretty much anywhere though.

I guess you mean the DPMS detachable A2 sight? The sight on this thread/pre-order is an A1 style sight, different than all the others out there. It's a custom-made, limited-production sight not found anywhere else. There are cheaper alternatives, but it's all what you prefer. DPMS is also a big company that can offer free shipping. I'm just one of you guys trying to run a group-buy so I can get a sight for myself, and to help others get one as well. I'm definately not doing this for fun or profit.

Not to mention the DPMS is a POS.

I wasn't able to get my MO out until Friday AM. Post Office said it should be delivered to you Mon., or Tues at latest.
Let me know if this affects the group buy or my particular order, since it will arrive after the cut-off date.

dadman, I only have received 4 payments so far, I still have 15 other members that I am waiting for payments on. The cut off date is just to get this project moving along (and has nothing to do with those already on the list), as we have the minimum (20) number of sights ordered, so we can have these produced. Once I get all the payments, the sights will be produced and shipped to me, then to you and everyone else. It's just the sooner I get all the payments, the sooner you get your sight!

Does Bushmaster sell the parts together, or did you have to slect/purchase seperatly?

Everyone that is on the list originally posted they wanted one, then confirmed their order when asked again. I've been getting payments here and there, but it will probably take a couple weeks to get them all.

I have come to believe that some members might not realize that there is this new thread for the A1 BUIS ordering, as the old thread was locked.
