Radical looking comp- I like it. Too bad I just got a Miculek for my DPMS or I would get one.

Got my first one yesterday & installed it today. The hardest part was getting the A2 birdcage off. Looking forward to some range time.

Sorry ....no pics. Can't afford a digital camera.....spent all my money on these friggin' guns.

I'm anxiously awaiting some range reports. We have been quite happy with the performance of this comp and thus far the feedback we have received has been great!

I got mine today. It arrived just as I was returning from the range so I dont have a range report yet but so far I am very happy with the fit and finish as well as the look.

Here it is installed and compared to the YM Phantom .308-5C2 Comp/Flash Suppressor it replaced. The YM is bigger than a roll of US Quarters and it looked BAD hanging off the end of my 6.8.



Here is the whole gun.



I know it's not an AR10 but it is a 6.8 SPC with an 18" WOA bbl.

I hope it shoots as well as it looks.

I am no photographer but at least there are no toes.

Hey Mike,

I have shot it on a .308 Savage bolt that a buddy had and I was pretty happy with the results. Now if we just had one that had the bi-lock mount for the HVT.

The comp does indeed come with a crush washer for timing.

Ok got my brake today and went to the range.

I am very pleased with this comp!! To say the least.

Here are some shitty pics.







I hade a few different types of .308 that I shot to test the comp.

Rem 700 18in barrel
100yd range

Factory Fed 165 Fb Sp
Gennerally a heavy recoil round in my gun.
Signifigant improvement with comp.

Reload 168 SMK about 2650-2700ish fps.
Pretty hot hand load in my 18in barrel
This break works well. Follow up shots were fast
no lag time from recoil. Scope stayed on target
I was quite supprised.

Reload Lapua 155 BTHP
Not to stiff normally.
really pleasant with comp.
Same as above

Reload 200gr SMK 2200fps
Pretty low recoil load.
Not much difference with perceived recoil
with comp.

Reload Hornady 110gr V-max 3000fps
Lil fast pussy fart varmint popping round.
Very little recoil no brake
I was amased with the brake on! Perceived
recoil was almost nil.

I will comment on Noise when I go to an outdoor range.
Its not fair to comment now due to the way my gun clubs
tube is set up.

Accuracy was not affected at 100yds I put 60 or so rounds down range
mostly 155 Lapua, which shoots really well in this gun.

POI (point of impact) supprisingly was only affected by about 2in
from my previous 100yd zero with the Vortex on. Might have just
got lucky.

To sum it up, this is the best $48 bucks ive spent(Free shipping) in a long time
The comp works.

More testing to come in .308.
