I have 8 boxes of .357 sig wwb ammo... just curious to know approximately hiw much it would cost to ship from SC to NC?

You can go to
http://www.natchezss.com/index.cfm and get an approximate weight per box. Add some for packing materials.
Then use the UPS calculator
http://www.ups.com/. You will need zip codes. For a more accurate cost use the detailed estimator if you have addresses.
There is no upcharge for shipping ammo but you will need the ORM-D labels. You will also have to ship via a hub or handing it over to a driver. No UPS Store or other outlets are supposed to handle ammo.
