I have a ad in the rimfire section and have gotten really confused..I had one guy reply to the ad that he would take them and sent a PM too..Unfortiniltey I did not see his reply to the post and I had two other people that PMed they would take them..I have to look up the order in which they PMed but one PM staing they would take the mags showed up before the reply to the actual post.It gets even better I think they are both in the proccess of paying and one already did..What a dang mess..So if I end up with two guys paying who should I refund? Is it the guys that responded he will take them in the ad followed by a PM or is it the guy that PMed first that should get them? Thanks and please help.I do not want anyone mad...

The ad is right at the top of the rimfire for sale section and is for 3 CMMG mags.

You can sell to whoever you want to sell to. If you said "It's yours" to anyone, that is who you have to sell to. If you've got multiple people possibly sending money by Paypal then there may be issues. It would depend on how you replied to them. As you don't show an email address in your ad you would have had to sent it to them. If you sent it to multiple people for the same thing then there will be an issue. You've got to pay attention to all three reply methods: reply, IM, and email. Getting them confused will cause the issues at hand.

My two cents, if you gave two separate people your Paypal then you comitted to both and either way you'll receive a whelch from one or the other. Even if it's an honest mistake soneone is not going to be happy about the situation.

Hopefully one or the other will be understanding. A mod will be along to help sort it out.

How many people did you send payment info to?

I don't understand how you have multiple people sending you payment, did you make deals with multiple people?

This could turn into a real mess if it hits the feedback section.

Agreed. You only send payment info to one person, the person that strike a deal with.

Only one has paid me so far and I sent a PM to the other person I thought should be first in line as he replied to the ad, but the other buyer PMed me first however he would take em and hopefully the second guy I PMed will not pay also.I would think he would not as I pmed him not to but I just do not want anyone mad at me over a few .22 mags......Its really very simple I got confused who was who in the PMs.I had three PMs wanting them and another with a question. It is not like I was dealing with 3 close friends and their names I have known for years..Just simply sent the payment info to two people by mistake..Please forgive me I am human..

I never seen this but there is a place to click if you want to save sent PMs..I thought sent ones would have been automatically saved. So it was hard to tell who I sent messages to till I figured out you had to something special to save sent messages. They should be saved automatically in my opinion.

Theres nothing shady here and it was a ohnest mistake and if both do pay I need to refund one of them...Thanks

I would send both of them the URL to this thread to make sure they understand what happened.

99% of the regular EE members are extremely understanding. Only 1% would sentence you to six months in the electric chair.
