Winchester Model 12, US Marked for sale in DFW - SPF

I have a Winchester Model 12 with the US markings, all matching serial numbers, and in good condition. The shotgun is not the riot configuration. It does have a Cutts compensator on the front and I have been told (but unable to verify) that this configuration was used to train aerial gunners during WW2. The serial number puts this at a 1942 manufacturing date. Stock has the correct markings but there was a buttpad cover on it prior to my acquiring it that has resulted in a lighter color of wood where the cover was. All markings are still intact and very clear however. I will try and get some pics up tomorrow but feel free to email with any questions and I will send pics to you as soon as I have taken them.
