1938 27 Code RC K98 Mauser For Sale....SPF

I have a RC K98 27 code 8mm Mauser for sale. $385.00 shipped...No Trades.

It has the under-barrel import mark. NO X on the receiver ring. Ivan forgot that. Sadly the three birds on the right of the ring have been peened but not too bad but the Weimer "stick birds" are just fine..
I have configured this K98 to look like what a 27 code should look like according to Law's book but of course nothing matches but the receiver/barrel.
The solid red glue laminated stock is the proper WaA coded stock for the 27 code/year. The WaA 280 stamp on the stock is still faintly visible and the WaA 280 marks are visable on the take down disks and butt-plate which is orgional to the stock. It came from another RC so it has a different serial. The is a smll chuck missing up front that I showed in a pic. Trigger guard is unmarked.
The bore is good+, has a nice crown, and the bore should shine right up after some range time to get the dip blue out of it. I've never shot it but it feeds/ejects just fine, the firing pin will send a pencil across the room, and it passes the bullet test with flying colors.
A repro cleaning rod/lock-screws and sling are included.
Payment by USPS money order only. A signed file copy of your 03 C&R or a signed file copy of your 01's FFL must accompany your payment. I will include a signed file copy of my 03 FFL with the weapon. I will only ship to the address on the FFL.
For sale elsewhere and will go by time stamp.
A firm "I'll take it" trumps all.
