Just got a call from my brother. His fiance came home today at lunch and found their home ransacked. The only good thing was that whoever did this was gone before his fiance got home.

Anyways, his blued Ruger P95 was stolen. 9mm with two Ruger 10 round mags and a couple aftermarket 15s.

Also stolen was a white/red 2009 Yamaha YFZ450R, Xbox, Wii, Panasonic flat screen TV, and probably more.

I know chances are slim, but if anyone in the area comes across any of the above for a "too good to be true" deal, please let me know. Police report was filed, I guess there's not much else that can be done. Thanks.

ETA: Stolen Ruger was blued, not stainless as I originally thought it was.

UPDATE: Talked with my brother today, the gun was found this week. Arresting officer said some guy on parole had a surprise check-in from his PO, and the PO decided he felt like searching the guy's car for once, and that they usually don't do this. The car was loaded up with drugs and my bro's pistol under the seat. Guy is now back in jail I would assume (wonder how many times that makes for him now?).

Anyways, the arresting officer said he needed my bro to drive all the way into Pittsburgh to appear for this drug dealer's trial. Nice thing was they only gave him about 12 hours notice before this guy's trial. Now, call me crazy, but why would he need to appear? This drug dealer was probably given the stolen pistol for payment of a debt by the a-holes that broke into my brothers house, the officer even told my brother this is probably what happened. The cops have a police report which lists the pistol as stolen, with serial no. and a date of the break-in.

I just can't see what asking my brother to testify would do, or even what he would testify? "Sir, yes, this is my gun, it was stolen, you can see that info in your police report. Thank you." How can him appearing help with anything they don't already have in the report?

He couldn't get time from work to go on such ridiculously short notice anyways, so he asked the officer to send a summons if he really has to appear for some unknown reason why.

Ill keep my eye out in the local stores, and check against the gunshows. Might not be a bad idea to make some flyers and hand them out to dealers at the Pittsburgh Mills and Monroeville gun shows upcoming.

Why your brother needed to be there was cause some lawyer will say that the police are lying. It wasn't stolen, unless the owner shows up and says in court it was.

Thank the lawyers of the world for that one.
