Just trying to get other things at the moment. I will say up front, that I am in no way qualified to grade or value these coins.
I'll list out what there is, to the best of my knowledge, and then I'll put what I think is a fair value. If you don't like it, make an offer. However, my prices are mainly based on what recent sales here have been on identical or similar items.
Postal MO will be the only method of payment accepted. Also, these items are for sale locally as well, and a local sale will take precedent over online sales. As for sales here, the first "I'll take the lot" will get preference over any single coin sales. Basically, I reserve the right to sell to whomever I choose.
Here's the UPDATED "list":
1924 Peace Dollar- NMC graded as MS65- looks virtually perfect- P mint
1923 Peace Dollar- super condition, slightly toned. D mint
1922 Peace- Uncirculated, and BEAUTIFULLY toned. Looks very much like a gold coin.- D mint
1878 Morgan- gorgeous condition, and not many flaws for a 134 year old coin. S mint.
1891 Morgan- not as good a condition as the last, but very nice. O mint
1999 Silver Eagle- nearly perfect. One tiny mark or two.
1999 Silver Eagle- I forgot what the circumstances surrounding this were. It's painted or electroplated in some way, but only on the obverse, and part of it at that.
1968 25 Peso Mexican coin, from the "games of the 19th Olympiad Mexico"
1861 seated Liberty Half Dollar- not great condintion, but a neat silver, anyway.
1964 Kennedy Half-hand painted on the obverse, but not on the presidential bust. It was painted by a famous artist, but I don't recall the name, as I've had it a good many years. Perfect condition.
1964 Kennedy Half-uhhh....not much to say.
1835 Capped Bust Quarter- marked as "F/VF"- Not superb condition, but beautiful, considering it's 177 years old.
Two Standing Liberty Quarters- I can't read the year on either. Pretty neat, though.
1954 Washington quarter- nuff said.
1946 and 1964 Roosevelt Dimes. Nuff said.
1944 Mercury Dime- OK condidtion; nothing special.
1945 Mercury Dime- Possibly the most beautiful circulated example I've ever seen. The reverse is near perfect, and the obverse is quite nice.
I'm going to say $600 for all of it. A lot of the coins shown have value far beyond "scrap value", so I think I'm being fair. If you have knowledge otherwise, let me know. Make offers, but I'm not too interested in trading. Offer whatever, though.
ETA: Don't worry about offending me. Make offers.
Just the Morgan above remains.
Some silver sold; some still available. Make an offer, guys. Bump.
Make it $300. The remaining silver dollars are all quite valuable....far over spot price. I'll also throw in another silver Washington quarter, and two more silver dimes, for no additional cost.
bump. Make cash or trade offers, guys. .223 or .45 ACP ammo is welcome on trade.
Where in Pa are you? I've got ammo I could trade.
posting for feedback.
