I bought this on a whim from my local gun store because I was missing my last 5" 1911. I've had it for ~2 weeks and am feeling buyers remorse. Love the gun, the feel, the weight and everything about it, but I just know if I keep it, I'll never shoot it as much as it deserves to be shot.
So with that said, for sale, as the title states is one Colt 1911. It is an XSE Lightweight model, government length, blued finish with the flats of the slide being Colts higher polished blue finish. It's truly beautiful. The gun has seen 50 rounds and has just run perfectly straight from the box. Has the box and all the factory parts including 3 dot Novak sights, ambi safety, great beavertail, beautiful grips, and 2 factory 8 round magazines. (For full disclosure, I will let you know that 1 magazine is slightly finicky with a full 8 rounds in it.) Any wear is just from that short stint of use, nothing more that I see. If you don't see something in the pictures below, please let me know and I'll take better ones for you.
Besides the factory options, the only other parts I've added are Wilson Combat 1-Piece Bullet Proof short style Guide Rod and a Wilson Combat Spring Plug, which is blued to match. The stock parts will also be included. The Wilson parts were NOT on the gun when it was fired.
Asking price is $875 OBO ftf or I will ship it for the actual shipping cost. Your choice of fedex or UPS with full insurance. Again I'm open so make a reasonable offer. I would like to sell this quickly to put the money into some other projects, so please IM or E-mail with questions or offers.
Payment via discreet Paypal + fees or gift are preferred, but will also take money orders.
I'm located in the Raeford/Bragg area of NC for anyone interested in FTF. I'll be willing to drive maybe 20-30 miles, but the closer I can stay to Bragg the better due to being on call at work.
IF SHIPPING, YOUR FFL MUST ACCEPT FROM AN INDIVIDUAL. (My FFL charges actual shipping + $40. It benefits both you and I financially if your FFL will accept from me directly.)
Thanks for taking the time to check this out, and as always, please IM or e-mail with questions!
ETA: This will be listed on some local forums, so going by "I'll take it" time stamps!
