my parents live in twinsburg, and when school ends this semester ill be going over to help them do some spring cleaning, since they are going to have to move to a smaller home soon. lots of stuff will be brought to goodwill, but alot will get pitched. i was planning on renting a uhaul van or small truck to deal with it.

so my question, what/where do i bring the garbage? obviously it will be too much to just sit in the driveway, and according to my dad, its against their HOA to put one of those pods or trash collector thingys in the driveway.

Fuck the HOA. You can get a portable roll off put in driveway load it full of trash then have it scheduled to be picked up a couple of days later. Or if you don't want to upset the precious HOA that they won't be part of anymore because they are moving, you can waste your time money and fuel by loading up the uhaul and make numerous trips to your local landfill.

I'd say to check the HOA rules again because I'd be willing to bet they are allowed a dumpster for a short period. Roofers and other contractors would go nuts if that was the case. Also I would look into a rental dump trailer (if you have a decent tow vehicle) or dump truck instead of a uhaul so you only have to handle it once.
