They're not really going away, just being temporarily removed. No where in that article did they say they weren't replacing them or were going to remove them (which would be ok by me).

Yup, That's what they did to all of the shooting spots in close to the PDX area within the last 3 months.

Sturdy 2x4's nailed/screwed to the underside of triple-layer plywood to build your own bridge, and cinder blocks to stick underneath depending on how deep the trench is.

Where there's a will... there's a way.

Where in the article does it say they're taking the gates down? It doesn't...

Unfortunately, that works for both sides.

I have also seen large boulders piled up 10 feet high to block access.

Why? Do you like your tax dollars being wasted as they replace the stolen gates? Seems to me this sort of thing only means they will keep charging user fees to access lands we already pay for with our taxes.

$4000 for a gate?????????


I should bid 2k... and still would make insane profit. a few hundred in materials, and a couple hours of cutting and welding. they cant be that hard to build.
