Keep an eye on Cabelas. Sometimes they put it on sale as a loss leader to get folks in the store. I just bought some for $6 per box at the Marysville grand opening.
I usually buy from SA&A, but Cabelas had it for $360/1000. not the best, but not the worst either... plus I had 20$ off so.......

This is who I get it from. The last 3K was $289.00 a thousand plus $12.00 shipping. The best deal I can find.
Steel core M855 is OK. Shoots every time and makes me smile, just not as tight groups. Still more than accurate enough out to 100yrds. Not match ammo groups, 2" or so.

That's a better price than we have it right now I'm pretty sure. If they still have it, I'd say buy what you want/need/can before the price jumps again.
I sold some of my Winny Q3131A off recently for 350 PER K. as soon as I posted it, it went pretty quick.
ETA: I know it's different stuff, but price is similar. Ammo is easy to sell right now.
