 Free Food Storage Workshop in Woodland Park this weekend.

There has been a growing interest within our community for information on disaster preparedness and over all self-sufficiency. The Tea Party Patriots has stepped up to fill this need with the second in a series of free workshops.

Food Storage Workshop Saturday Feb 11th 2012 @ 11:00pm – 1:00pm
During the Workshop we wil be discussing

-Importance of food storage for your family
-Enviromental conditions to optomize your storage
-Tips for beginners to start their food storage-cheaply
-Bulk storage methods
-Hands on displays of food preparation/storage items
-Bulk storage hands on demonstration: grain in mylar bags/buckets
-Free food samples to try (dehydrated, freeze dried, bulk stored, canned)
-Resource handouts on recommended vendors/websites

Location:
Woodland Park Library conference room on the lower level
218 E. Midland
Woodland Park, CO 80863
(at the light at Midland and Highway 24)

This workshop will be followed up with a second one that were we are going to have a canner (#10 cans) and an industrial sealer available for attendees to seal their own items.

If you're interested I have a classroom available in Aurora which might help your attendance as its more metro area local. Let me know if you'd like to put this class on down here.

Is this something you plan to do often? I would love to attend something like this and the wife and I are moving to CO this summer.

Thanks for all that showed. It was another great turn out! Our next will be a workshop for you to bring your stuff and we will help you load it into #10 cans, buckets,etc.
