Anybody have a good lead on a shooting spot near Eagle?

Yes, but I am looking for a good public land spot. I already belong to the Rifle club and one in GJ

Looks like a scouting trip will be in order. I will find something at the end of a road,with a good backstop out to 800 yds.
There will also be a good pistol area next to the firing line.

Time to load up MO,the jeep!

google maps: 39.742917,-106.705917 good as any close by. Shoot to north, large backstop, and obvious shooting area with shotgun hulls and spent brass on the ground. KA headstamp Garand brass is mine...

Thanks, looks like a good spot to me. Let me know if you want any info on GJ shooting. I have found some Excellent public land spots.

I usually don't get to much further west than Eagle and Montrose.
