No my dad just bought a house on tainter lake.
Out past the courthouse there was a range about a decade ago. Not sure if its still there or not
I lived on Tainter for awhile.
I do recall a range nearby (just out of town) but don't remember just where. Too many years ago.

There was a gun range east of town, just south of 12. If you're on 94 exit at Co. Rd. B & continue south over 12. From Mapquest, it looks like B becomes 610th St. It's a couple of miles south of that intersection. I'm not sure if it's still there because I haven't been there in several years.

And there is a nice range in Boyceville, both operated as Dunn county parks. Go to the ranges and get a schedule, then take their Range Supervisor class. That allows you to go to the range whenever you like, you get access tot he lock combos and such. You have to perform 8 hours of range supervision a year, but it is easy if you go sometime with friends and count the hours.
