Where else can I get my perv on????

Anyone who thinks that anything they put out on the web staying private is fooling themselves(especially on forums). I am sure I have posted things that could be taken out of context but that is part of the game.

OK...so I will play devil's advocate on this.
Yes, I completely understand the internet "game".
I am just as cynical as you, probably more so...and let's face it, no one REALLY knows what happens to the info we put out there and who (what) is behind the curtain.

So...if ARF.com came out and advised you that you would need to re-register and provide more demographic information about yourself and informed you that everything you posted...let me repeat that...everything you posted, would be fed into some info-gathering software and then sent to a secondary organization to be compiled, analyzed and stored with the possibility of having this information shared with other parties without your specific consent.

You would be OK with that?

Did you read the article?
In particular I like the one comment,
"Facebook giving the info to Politico is the same as Facebook giving the info to the Obama campaign."

Lest we forget that Sheik Obama used Twitter and Fb as strategic communications resources for his initial campaign.

My $0.02, I have one friend on Fb and he still asks on occasion if I am ever going to join.
The rest of my friends and I actually have a life and all agree that we already spend too much facking time on the InterWeb as it is.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

I get you I really do but what you need to understand is that there are already people/machines/programs that scan and copy these forums and everything else that is public domain. Google has enough cached data to track down just about anyone.
