So I'm contemplating going after some crappie for tonight's meal, then decide on a venison casserole instead.
Gonna throw in some dried morels into the casserole too.
So I just got finished chopping up some red onion and red, green, yellow bell peppers, and a clove of garlic and my eyes are watering and starting to swell shut.
So I just took some benyadryl.
I put the mix in the bowl, sealing with celophane, after I sprinkled some olive oil on it. I won't make that mix again if it causes problems when I cook it.
Never had eyes swell shut from dicing up veggies before.

We cut up some green onions the other night and I just ate into them like I used to do... And realized I shouldn't have

I think I need to work my resistance back up a little at a time

I'll let you know in an hour or so. I'm boiling off the juices now (reducing the stock as us great chefs say).
I like my chopped up peppers crunchy and not soaked.
I'm about to put some velveeta cheese on top of it so it should be just about ready when my first wife gets home.
She does like the way I cook.
That may be the only thing she likes but it's kept us married for almost 34 years. Our next anniversary is on April 1.
If hadn't fallen on a Saturday in 1978, we wouldn't have been married this long.

Ew! Fungus! I've tried to like mushrooms a couple of times. I just can't bring myself to do it. Terrible taste, terrible texture.

red onion

Yummy! My favorite veggie!

red, green, yellow bell peppers

I'll pass...gas, and a lot of it if I eat those. And that's where it stops if I'm lucky... Now, see, you should be using red and green chili peppers and cayenne peppers for flavor and maybe a habenero for a little bit of heat.

a clove of garlic

Yay, garlic!

So, venison, red onion and garlic are all GTG, but the rest of it, yeah, no.

Sorry to hear you reacted poorly to prepping your dinner.

damn, all I had was some two day old pizza; but it was still pretty good.

had to work on my project some more; got the sheetrock hung, taped/bedded and some texture applied.
