Only three of us showed up (
) me, cnjarvis and suzookKING, nice to meet you two by the way.
But then it boiled down to me and suzook doin the shooting and I must say that suzooks "Happy switch" AR is quite nice
It was just me and him for a while, then some old timers showed up to zero a rifle then a while later some other dude came in to pop off a few.
Even though everyone bowed out, I think me and suzook had a decent day of shooting, at least I did
So ya... yall suck

It was Youth Aviation Day for me, helping the youts out with their aviation experiences, I think this is the 5th year I've volunteered at that event.

Reminds me of the Lexington shoot. Only Ndenway, Soonerman, and I showed up.

I really wanted to come but I had no say when our game was scheduled. I've not been fishing as much as I want nor have I been turkey hunting yet, much less going to a shoot.
Maybe sometime this summer we can hit Lexington....

Yeah Lex is good and anyone who wants to pull a happy switch can come over to our dry pond in front... Oh about 6 miles north of Lex
Can't do anything but pistol and FA there since its kinda short range (MAYBE 15 yds so not good for accuracy on long guns) but it is a good backstop and you could shoot whatever you wanted

I took my gf shooting.
she'd never even held a gun before let alone shot one; about a hundred rounds in she started hitting the target approx 30% of the time
figure she did pretty good being so nervous about shooting a gun; next time she might even do better; got to do some dry fire practice while watching tv and that'll be some help getting her used to handling the gun correctly.

Give her a cowgirl hat and turn on a John Wayne movie... She can practice on the injuns!!
